Internet good times????

Posted on

Well hello folks we have at home internet and unfortunately I really can’t post that comment on Blogger due to some family issues, but I can here. We had satellite internet installed and so far I’m not too impressed with it… we can only download at night so as to not use up our 10G limit as that was the only plan we could afford.. and so far it’s hard to run more than one internet page at a time.

We seem to have returned to a “winter” weather pattern here 19 degrees this morning when I got the kids up. Which I am glad we are having correct temps.. now if we could just get the correct precip. I am debating if I should find a way to start my eggplants this month as last year I could not get them to grow at all. ..ok.. slightly incorrect they grew maybe 2 inches…

My son is staying home from school today, as it seems he has caught a stomach bug, told me he feels like he’s going to throw up and looked very pale. So he’s in bed and I took his Christmas gift from him to insure he was “honestly” sick. As anyone who was a child knows sometimes you just want to stay home and veg out… He gave it up no complaint so I’m guessing he really is ill. Considering the gift he got from his grandmother was a Nintendo DS, I know he’d prefer to be playing it if he felt alright.

Once the payment for the sat goes through and we get the rest of our animal feed we are going to start buying re-bar and a mini sledge to start putting the house together. We still have a small amount of minor clearing to do in the outline of the house but otherwise it’s all ready to work.

Hope everyone had a good New Year’s celebration!

Be Well, Be Safe, and Blessed Be…
