An interesting time out

Posted on

We ran out today partly to add to the gas tank so we will have the gas to both buy groceries and take our house guest to the bus station on Friday.  I saw something that bothered me slightly.  There was a line at the local gas station.  In the three years we have lived here I have NEVER seen a line at that gas station.  However, I do think that it has to do with the fact that it was the cheapest gas around right now.  It is also a gas station that prices the high test as the same as regular gas.

The next interesting thing I saw was the price of potatoes.  Since the holidays ended the price on them in the store has gone up buy $1.  Bell peppers (green ones) are $.99… which is up by $.30.  I wonder if this is the start of the price uptic or something else?  I will see more in a few days when we go grocery shopping.

Have a nice night all!
