About “US”

A hopeful “green” homestead in the Missouri Ozarks.  We have 3 kids, 4 dogs, 6 cats, and a flock of chickens.  This is our 2nd year here (2011) and we are progressing as time goes by.  We are slowly working on our 5.29 acres, starting off first in a tent for 6 months.  Now we are in a 12X24 shed which for the winter will be expanded on.  Then we will build a house a link to which is on the blog  details the “style” of home we have.

I am a 35 year old woman who is the mother of the three children, no I don’t post pictures of my family; sorry folks.  My kids are currently 14,13,12.  My boyfriend is 52 (yes 52) years old and he loves my kids as if they were his own, which he does have one; who lives with his mom.

If anyone wants to give us a hand in some way this is our amazon wishlist and a donate button follows it:

my own email is:

Feel free to email me if you have questions!  …and thanks for checking us out!
